Jill and Troy got married on Jill's parent's land and had the most beautiful backyard reception filled with so many detailed decorations it hurts my brain thinking about how it was all put together! Jill is a wonderfully artistic person and she made the most chillest, yet elaborate wedding I've ever seen! I'm sure Troy helped too... ;) as well as all of their awesome friends and family.
I really liked the set up of Jill and Troy's wedding day. They had an intimate and small ceremony followed by a huuuuuge reception! It was clear so many people were so excited to celebrate them. They got married in the small, small town of Ewen and I was able to experience some of the small town charm as my second shooter and I took photographs on the main street. Random people were saying hello and even asked if we were there for Jill's wedding! haha! It was like the whole town knew that it was the biggest celebration of the year!
When I asked Jill what her favorite part of the wedding day was she said, "Everything! But if I have to specify... everyone enjoying themselves in the unique atmosphere! And the ceremony. I loved it so much!" Jill and Troy, your whole day was beautiful and filled with beautiful, happy people. Congratulations on your marriage and may you have all the happy years!
Lace + Queen Anne's Lace
sooooo many small, personal details!
Patches, the dog, was an honored member of the bridal party. And may or may not have distracted some people during the ceremony. haha!
We didn't even have to worry about traffic! One person drove by, stopped their car and left it running in the middle of the road while taking a picture of Jill and Troy. Casual.
And then they took me to ~ the field ~ I was geeing out, it was so gorgeous.
Soooooo many delicious food stations..
I loved Jill's end of the night look: flannel and boots.
