Northern Michigan Engagement // Lauren + Tyler

Wow. It has been a while since I've made a blog post. There are soooo many moving parts of my life right now.... it's no big secret to those around me that balance has been a HUGE struggle! However, there are a lot of changes happening in my life soon as I attempt to get back to basics and sharing more of what I LOVE to do: photographing love. ;)

Lauren and Tyler were fantastic to work with. Both such genuine, loving people. When Lauren first found me and we started talking, she kept telling me about how she wanted to personalize her wedding, setting up the timeline in a non-traditional way - making it right for her and Tyler! And that they love candid, emotional photographs. I kept thinking... These are my people!

A little bit about their relationship from Lauren:

"We met when I was about 6/7 and Tyler was 8/9... we always had crushes on each other off and on but it wasn't until 2012 that we started dating seriously. We have had a lot of struggles that have strengthened our foundation and showed us how strong our love for each other is. We wanted to shoot somewhere that was meaningful for us and my mom and Dave's farm was great because we feel so close to both of them and the farm is so peaceful. We loved that Sabrina spent so much time with us and was so upbeat and fun, down for whatever. I am not a big fan of being the center of attention usually, but she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Tyler was relaxed too. I also loved that she jumped right in and conversed with our family and took the regular "day to day" photos!"
